Fragments
Function
Fragments is the open space around the CTE three-album arc.
It holds miscellaneous songs and other works that belong to [[Project CTE]] but are not part of the locked CTE three-album arc.
Fragments are not leftovers.
They are evidence of consciousness in motion.
What belongs here
- standalone songs
- partial songs
- lyric fragments
- sound sketches
- process notes
- visual art
- unfinished but meaningful pieces
- relearning drawing / painting / making
- pieces that invite listeners into CTE without carrying a full album function
Core purpose
Fragments lets CTE breathe.
It allows the project to hold lived experience without forcing every piece into Threshold, Witness, or The Fragile World.
Guardrail
Fragments can be loose, but not meaningless.
A Fragment still needs a lived-experience connection.
If it cannot connect back to experience, it may just be storage, not CTE.
Relationship to the core albums
[[Threshold]] = experience without awareness [[Witness the Weight of Awareness]] = awareness of experience [[The Fragile World]] = re-entry into the shared world with awareness
[[Fragments]] = miscellaneous songs and other works outside the core arc
Possible uses
- entry points for listeners
- side doors into the project
- process documentation
- future collaboration space
- experimental sound / visual work
- songs that matter but do not belong in the main arc
- regression / growth explorations
- concepts before songs
Key phrase
First comes experience.

Questions to keep open
- Does this belong to a core album, or is it better as a Fragment
- Is it a song, sketch, process note, or visual piece
- Does it reveal consciousness in motion
- Does it invite experience without forcing placement
- Is it unfinished because it is incomplete, or because it is meant to remain open
